Small Victory by Laura Davenport

I'm pleased to report that our constant nagging of the council has pushed them in the right direction with regard to the many housing developments planned to follow the works on the North Circular Road. Rather than Enfield allowing Notting Hill Housing Trust (NHHT) to do just as they like they are now asking NHHT to present a full scheme for the area so we can all see what their 'vision' for the area is. This has only come about through residents and businesses attending umpteen public meetings and continually raising the issue.

As another campaigner once said "It may be boring but persistence pays".
